Social Life brought me in from MTV in a senior designer role and during the time I was with them, the company was nominated for a webby, winning the Webby and an Emmy the following year. I was able to work on a number of high profile Netflix and Amazon Prime programs. The company was sold to Jellyfish Group in 2019.
Working at Social Life
Working mainly on Netflix programming is a bit of a dream job, and it certainly made it easy to study the client’s work! Big Mouth, To All The Boys I’ve Loved, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Sex Education, Elite, A Christmas Prince, Hold the Dark, Neo Yokio, and Jack Reacher and The Witcher for Amazon Prime.
I worked with the design team to create the social assets for these shows, organically building the audience online. We also pitched on a number of other shows, including Top Boy which I presented at the Netflix HQ in London. Below is the brand credentials hype video they used to sell the company.
